Dear Evony friends, Ok, here we go. At this moment, Evony Age II is no longer a WAR game. Bots are al around, shipping in food and comforting endlessly. On every server at least 98% of all accounts are created to win gov. on cc2, they have found a way to capture EVERY hero that attacks.
on cc3 people are locking up HCs again, like happened on NA5 Result = attacking is futile!! Now, Evony, tell me. Why would I bother to ever attack another player again? You are really still calling this a WAR game? You need to fix these things or this will be the end of your game, really.
It's not only the people who are blocking hc's but the main problem is the constant botting from bots like at if you want access to the bot you need to skype dhevony original name = Don Hathaway people like him who make a living from letting other pay to cheat in a game that should be all about fun I do hope evony will find a way to remove the bots from their game so people will actually play again. Im not talking about people 'blocking' Hcs with a load of alts around it. Thats annoying too. But im talking about 'locking' Hcs up. They use a trick to make the HC their last city so it cannot be conquered at al. It went rampant on na5 and now people are doing it again on cc3.

Evony has and always will be full of glitches, botters, sellers, and cheaters. Sure, would be nice to only be able to have a main and 2 alts per server and no way to get around it and no alts for gov voting, and no glitches and only able to use a bot to farm and train and build/research, but this isn't our dreams now is it? Evony will always have botters, or else they'll go outta business. Same with alts.
Evony could easily fix these problems, but truth be told its one of the only ways u can get strong for free, and if evony prevented these then they'd lose a lot of players. As for glitches, evony fixes one glitch and a new one appears. It's how it goes. They will never get glitch free. They patch one thing and then anothe r glitch comes out, its inevitable. As for hero cap and hc lock, u'd have to contact evony for that. But otherwise no use in complaining.
It won't rid bots or alts so quit spamming the forums with useless threads, and quit making ppl waste their times reading and replying to these threads please. On another note, still no net but it feels good to post to the forums for once in a long time.
Glad to be back. Evony has and always will be full of glitches, botters, sellers, and cheaters.

Looks like lot of people actually want to keep bots because they forgot how to play this game the fair way Blaming Evony for bad programming should def NOT be an excuse for others to keep cheating or 3rd party people making money by promoting cheating in a game that should be all about fairplay. If Evony wants i will send a pm with all related lordnames on CA1 I know for sure that use the UD Bot. Not hard for them to track the proxy's or other connection that are made to their servers. Server logs will show same pattern on tons of acc's and from there it's very easy to trace the UD Bot and make sure this cheating is brought to a stop. Lets get back to fairplay once and for all.

Evony 's logo Evony, LLC Evony, LLC Release May 6, 2009 Mode(s) Evony (formerly known as Civony) is an -based with graphic elements reminiscent of other similar real time games and is set in the European medieval time period. The player takes the role of a lord or lady and starts the game with a single small city where the player must build up internal buildings, like cottages, and external buildings, like farms, that produce resources (food, lumber, iron and stone), the basic building blocks for cities and armies in the game. Players must develop various technologies, recruit and train heroes, and enter alliances to make allies for both protection and for the purpose of attacking other players and alliances. Two browser-based versions (Age 1 and Age 2) as well as a mobile version (The King's Return) currently exist.
The gameplay of Evony. Evony is set in a during the medieval time period in which the player assumes the role of a lord or lady of a city or alliance. A new player is given 'beginner's protection,' which prevents other players from attacking their cities for a total of 7 days or until a player upgrades the town hall to level 5 or higher. This gives new players the opportunity to accumulate a few resources and troops and get accustomed to the game before other players can attack them.
The player sets tax rate, production and construction. The resources in the game are gold, food, lumber, stone, and iron, and the city's idle population.
As with similar games, the player first has to increase the city's population and hourly resource production rates as well as construction of certain buildings in the city, and then start building resource fields of their city and building an army. An army can include siege machines, such as, and, and foot troops, such as archers, warriors and swordsmen. All of Evony 's items must be purchased with cents which can be bought with real money, through its item shop in game or won at the wheel. Some items will accelerate the player's progression through the game.
Winning items in battle is the primary way to acquire resources and cities. Interaction The game features game play making it possible to attack another player's cities, and almost impossible for players who have not formed or joined alliances to survive. The game allows the player to control up to ten cities through gain of titles. To gain a title, a certain rank is necessary. Both Title and Rank require Medals gained by use of in-game coins to purchase medal boxes, by attacking valleys or winning medal boxes from spinning the wheel. The game has two different monetary systems.
The in-game monetary system revolves around gold. Gold can be obtained by completing quests, by taxing the city's population as well as attacking NPC's. It is also possible to sell resources for gold on the marketplace or to trade resources with other players within a player's alliance for gold. A player can also use real money to buy game cents with which to purchase items and resources from the in-game shop.
Controversy Advertising campaign. An Evony advertisement on a music streaming service Evony 's 2009 online advertising campaign was criticized for featuring what The Guardian called 'a string of increasingly racy images.' The images depicted females who, as the ad campaign continued, became increasingly, none of which had any relevance to the game itself. In 2009 Gavin Mannion commented that Evony 's 'latest ad is seriously pushing boundaries of what is acceptable to publish on Google'. Other ads used stock photographs from pornographic DVD covers. Evony has also been accused of promoting the game via 'millions of comments left on blogs'.
The company denies they are responsible for the spam. Others attribute the spam to players making use of the -based iEvony affiliate program. Regardless of the widespread criticism of these advertising policies, the campaign was hugely successful.
By late 2011, Evony counted 27 million registered users. 2009 legal action against blogger On August 25, 2009, Evony's lawyers threatened to sue a critical blogger for defamation over a variety of allegations as to the game's provenance and the practices of the companies behind it. The developers of Evony denied the allegations from internet blogger Bruce Everiss and sent a cease and desist letter for defamation based on Australian law. Everiss responded by linking to a documentary which reportedly showed evidence of Evony 's fraudulent history. Shortly before the case was due to begin in Sydney, Evony parted with their legal team and asked for an adjournment of the case. After the adjournment, the case was resumed with a new hearing in March 2010. However, two days into the case, Evony withdrew the libel claim against Everiss.
2016 Evony.com gets hacked During June 2016 Evony's complete user database was hacked. The database included all 33 million user accounts. Each account record contained the username, email address, password, and ip address. Evony never released an announcement regarding the hack publicly or to its users.
2017 Evony Server NA62 Gets wiped out On May 12, 2017 the Evony Server NA62 crashed, wiping out all buildings in Historic Cities owned by players. Repeated emails to Evony LLC, and the parent company uCool Inc. Were ignored by the companies.
Many players who had spent real money, lost their investment, due to the server errors. The damages were later repaired by resetting cities to their previous state, though troops lost during the period were not returned and some particularly unfortunate cities were not repaired.
